Summer in the Son - Vacation
Bible School
Summer in the Son is Trinity’s version of Vacation Bible School. It is an
opportunity for both elementary, junior high and high school youth to come
together, learn about Jesus and have lots of fun! Seven
Wednesday mornings junior high and high school youth work with adults to teach
elementary youth about God’s love through: Bible Stories, games, music, crafts,
and snacks. Then in the afternoon the junior high and high school youth eat
lunch and head off to various hot spots to enjoy the summer weather and spending
time together.
2013 Registrations are out!! They
can be found on the information table in the Narthex, the main church
office, Tashina’s office and at the link below.
“Jesus loves and
watches over kids! At school. At home. On the soccer field.
At the doctor’s office. Anywhere! This year we will be using ‘The
Hitchhikers Guide to the 23rd Psalms’ to learn of God’s provision and
protection—and to lead them in a discovery of every promise in Psalm 23.
When kids feel unsure or lonely or worried or confused, they can take
comfort in knowing: ‘The Lord is my shepherd…’
