In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.
Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday mornings from 9:00am – 10:00am Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!
Summer in the Son was so much fun this year! 28 children spent three Wednesdays learning from Trinity’s middle and high school youth. They learned about Moses leading the Israelites through the wilderness and how God provided for them along the way. They learned about Ruth and how she stuck by her Mother-In-Law Naomi when times were hard and they learned about Jeremiah and how God has a plan for us even before we are born…and that we are never too young to share God’s love with others.
If you have any questions about either summer program please contact Mary Johnson: firstname.lastname@example.org
Coming up in August, there will be another opportunity for children, their families (and any interested Trinity people) to come together for food, fellowship and fun. Trinity’s new Family Fellowship Nights will take place the first three Wednesday’s in August. These nights will take place at Harder Park in North Branch and will run from 6-8pm. These evenings are meant to be super casual with free time to play on the playground, get a ball game going or just sit and visit with other Trinity families. Planned activities such as face painting, craft projects and yard games will be available as well. A hot dog dinner will be provided each Wednesday so come hungry! There is no cost for this thanks to a generous donation but there will be collection bins onsite for Trinity’s annual school supply collection
